Another Arizona weekend in Agritopia. My sister and her family are currently at a family arts & crafts class, and I am sitting in my favorite jeans, the ones that have a hole on the crotch (mentioned in previous blog) watching Star Wars. We are meeting later for an authentic Japanese steakhouse dinner! My last trip to one of those was in Seattle with my dad and stepmom Karen. My dad was so thrilled by the flames he leaned in to take a photo and while doing so dropped his camera into them. Gosh I thought I was going to write about my Valentine's weekend, but I feel the urge to delve further into the over-simplified, all too predictable complexity that is; Michael Meyers, my father.
As we all know, our economy is in the midst of a "recession", this crisis was recently re-iterated to me by father. I had used his credit card at Target without asking...and before I had the opportunity to inform him, he spotted the "mysterious" (exact words) charge on the credit card bill, and wrote me an email regarding the state of the economy, and his retirement plan. What is amusing to me is that I received another email from dad earlier that week telling me about his new electronic keyboard, he also attached a photo.....hm
